The snapshot summarizes the recovery process for support purposes. It records your settings and choices. It is a short form of the log file, but is only a couple of KB in size.

To create a snapshot, click Help->Snapshot for customer support. The program asks for a filename and location to store this file. (Caution: Do not specify a location on the drive you want to recover). It is a good idea to include the snapshot when you send us an email for support.
